Hi TeaBag,

Thank you for your post, it sounds as if you’re going through a really challenging time, as you have so much going on and that can be tough to deal with. A dermatologist whose area of expertise is skin disorders will hopefully help you with your Urticaria Vasculitis. Whilst waiting for your appointment with the Dermatologist if you’re feeling unwell, do get in touch with your GP who may be able to advise in the meantime.

I hope you are getting the advice and support you need for your PIP appeal. The online forum has a section, ‘Benefits and working matters’ viewforum.php?f=9 where you could ask questions and learn from other people’s experiences, if you feel that this may help.

If it could help to talk through anything to do with your arthritis, you are very welcome to call our Freephone Helpline 0808 800 4050 (weekdays 9.30-5). Sometimes it can be helpful to have a listening ear.
You could also post a message about your arthritis on our the forum’s ‘Living with arthritis’ viewforum.php?f=8 section where I’m sure you will have more responses.

Best wishes
Lynda
