Lucy from ARUK is recruiting people of all backgrounds and ages from across the UK to get their pictures and tell their story.

These photographs and stories will accompany our information on our website and in our booklets. It helps so much to tell the story and champion the people who really matter in our information, as it makes what we’re saying so much more relevant and helps people relate to it.

If you are happy to have your photo taken to go along with your story, we will visit you for a little photoshoot. We like to get pictures somewhere which is natural and familiar to you, such as your home, your workplace, a local park or a cafe. Of course, we will be happy to share the pictures with you afterwards.

We are looking for people with the following conditions:
ankylosing spondylitis
PMR
Paget’s disease of the bone
Or have undertaken the following surgeries:
Hip replacement surgery
Knee replacement surgery
Shoulder and elbow joint replacement
Hand and wrist surgery for arthritis
Foot and ankle surgery for arthritis

Please let us know if you are interested in taking part, or if you want to find out some more information. It will not only help us as a charity, but more importantly, will help other people with the conditions we cover. We are often told how helpful people find these case-studies as it gives them strong motivation, hope and reassurance that they are not alone.

Contact Lucy at L.Roblin@arthritisresearchuk.org

Best Wishes
Sharon
